Warranty Conditions

At Garden Delight, we stand behind the quality of our products and offer a 5-year warranty on materials and construction. This warranty provides peace of mind, knowing that your investment is protected. Below, we outline the details of our warranty and maintenance policies.

We take great pride in delivering high-quality products and do our best to ensure they reach you in top condition. However, if a defect arises, we’re here to help.

Materials & Construction:

We offer a 5-year warranty on all materials and construction of our canopies, verandas, and sliding doors.
Assembly Work: We provide a 1-year warranty on assembly work, covering leaks and deviations that may occur.
Aluminum Deflection Tolerance:
Aluminum components may have a deflection tolerance of up to 12 mm. Please note that deflections within this tolerance are not covered by warranty.

European Warranty:

Under European law, we are liable for any lack of conformity (defects) that is discovered within two years of the delivery date.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you discover or suspect a defect in one of our products, please contact us as soon as possible: info@gardendelight.ie. To ensure a prompt resolution, you must report the issue within a reasonable period of time, which is typically two months. In certain circumstances, a longer period may be acceptable.

Once you notify us, we will arrange for a repair or replacement of the defective product free of charge.

Maintenance Guidelines

Our products are designed for low maintenance, thanks to the use of high-quality aluminum that resists weathering and requires minimal upkeep. To keep your canopy, veranda, or sliding doors in great condition, follow these simple care tips:

Cleaning the Aluminum:

Wipe the aluminum surfaces with a wet cloth and soapy water to remove dust or dirt.
Cleaning the Roof: For best results, use a (retractable) chamois to clean the roof. This will help preserve the surface and keep it looking like new.
Regular Cleaning: We recommend cleaning your canopy or veranda at least twice a year to maintain its appearance and ensure optimal performance.

Delivery

Delivery Information

Free Delivery: All products currently include free delivery.

Estimated Delivery Time: The current estimated delivery time for our veranda products is approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

Scheduling Delivery: After you place your order, we will reach out closer to the estimated delivery week to arrange a specific delivery and installation day that works for you.

Access and Unloading: Please ensure that a van or truck can access your apartment or property. The delivery driver will assess the best point to unload the items.

Assembly

Canopy assembly takes 1 to 2 days, depending on weather conditions and project specifications.

1. The site must be easily accessible and free of obstacles. If needed, the Garden Delight team can handle this for an additional charge.

2. The surface must be completely paved, flat, and level. If not, the Garden Delight team can assist for an additional charge.

3. Foundations must be placed on soil cleared of paving, rubble, and other debris. The Garden Delight team can clear this for an additional charge.

4. Garden Delight is not responsible for damage to underground cables or pipes.

5. Repaving to accommodate foundation blocks (footings) is at the customer's expense.

6. Connections to the sewerage system and required materials are the customer's responsibility.

7. Garden Delight is not liable for structural defects in the customer's home or buildings.

8. The customer is responsible for obtaining necessary permits, and any consequences from not having the correct permits are their responsibility.

9. Any additional work required will incur extra charges.
